How to play Apples to Apples in general
Apples to Apples

This script has been adapted from a similar script by tv3636
. Other playing modes were added along with a dictionary script. Further changes were made to facilitate playing without using /notice or /msg, and more decks have been added.
There is an anime mode which utilizes a few anime decks in this script. You can avoid them by using !apples and !oranges, or edit them out of the script (see the README).
This script uses File and Directory Modifiers instead of File Handling Commands. It's easier for me to code with and there's no noticeable performance issues. Global variables are set when the script is ran, but they are deleted at the end of the game.
As you can imagine, if there are 8 players then the owner of the script has to /notice each player their hand each round. This may cause "lag" because the IRC server thinks you're trying to flood it and slow down your text sending. Usually this doesn't happen, but if you have another script running with large volumes of output, then it's a bad idea.
If you have suggestions or feedback, please post them below. I've been using this script for a while though so it is tentatively bug-free through normal usage. Additions to the main deck (ata_fruit.txt) are also welcome.
Have fun playing!
