Hey. Having the same issue with a dc cord.
Only bought this thing I could run off 12v using dc. I've called jvc 3 times and many visits to stores but no one has access to this cable/adapter (not even JVC).
Did they ever get back to you? Know where I can find one? Thanks stacks in advance.
This printer model was conceived before the birth of iPad. Lexmark has an application called LexPrint which allows printing from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Click on this link http://bit.ly/jta9TB for a guide in installing LexPrint.

Slow printing might be a result of problems with your computer, the connection to your printer, or your software settings.
The processor and memory in your computer are used to format data for printing. If you have an older or slower computer, this can affect your print speed. Try printing with fewer applications open, or from another computer.
If you have a wireless connection to your printer, interference from a microwave oven or cordless phone could be a cause of slow printing. You might also try changing your security settings.
If problem is encountered with your printer, please send email to lxklistens@lexmark.com or access our chat system thru this link http://bit.ly/boldchat and chat with our Customer Advocate. Business hours is from Monday - Friday (US: 4:00am - 7:00pm EST; UK: 9:00am - 11:00pm GMT).
Firmware Update will help fix several printer issues including the problems mentioned above. Also, printer driver installed must be updated to avoid other printer problems. It is possible that the driver installed on your laptop with Win Vista Operating System (OS) is not compatible.
Also, firmware update can determine if a non genuine Lexmark ink is installed on the printer. Continuous usage of a non genuine Lexmark ink cartridges will damage the internal parts of the printer and will invalidate warranty.

Ok I think I can actually try to help here if you are still interested.. I know it has been a few years.. I bought a red one of these in 2009, the Charging problem comes from the battery not seating properly, there are 3 little pins in the battery compartment which you take a little screw driver or pen and gently pull them up.. Then it will charge correctly, see over time the pins will push down and one in particular, it needs 2 pins to run, 3 pins to charge 2. try turning on Stable shot, it seems to work well for me..instead of blurry pictures and video.. Unfortunately I dropped mine, and it has been through hell and back.. I now for some reason have crystal clear Pictures and Grainy red or blue Video.. I have no idea why this is happening, I am actually online trying to look that up right now when I stumbled upon this.. I hope I at least helped you a little bit.. I think something has rattled ajar on mine.. inside maybe circuitry.. idk

The error can be the result of firmware code, printer contacts or the printhead itself failing. There is a firmware update that addresses the “Printhead Error” on your printer. Please follow the steps below:
1. Remove the printhead from your printer and then close the cover of your printer.
2. Once the printer is removed, it will tell you to "Install the printhead". Press the cancel button (Red X) on the control panel of the printer to take you to the Copy menu. If you have a touch screen, press the “Home” button.
3. Once you're in the copy menu, go to your computer, open a browser and go to www.lexmarklabs.com/firmware and choose the model number of your printer then run the firmware update.
4. After applying the firmware update, install the printhead.
