Product Review:  FLIP ULTRA HD BATTERY CHARGNG PROBLEMS
Posted on Nov 19, 2009 10:07 am
All...thanks so much for posting these....I had the same problem. I was getting ready to RMA and with all of your notes I am not going to do it. I tried using AA batteries as Flip support told me they would last for weeks....Not so much....AA lasts for 1 hour at best. So I tried regular Duracell rechargeable batteries and they worked like a champ. I also reinserted the Flip battery and now it is charging in my PC ok. One thing I noticed is that the generic wall chargers work the worst. They "overheat" the unit very quickly; so unfortunately I am not going to use it. Good luck.....

Product Review:  Where is the audio?
Posted on Nov 13, 2009 10:54 pm
I had the same problem initially with the sound quality. I was going to return the tv, but after doing some research tried to use some s-video cables and that fixed the issue. The coaxial cables just down provide what we need to use our tv.

Product Review:  wacky Gateway NV52
Posted on Nov 7, 2009 10:25 pm
I think alot of the problems with the original review stemmed around Windows Vista. I experienced like problems on a completely different system. Recently purchased this computer from Best Buy and had the Geek Squad perform Optimization. It starts up in a matter of 15-25 seconds and is ready to go. I'm very impressed with it's speed. However, it is running Windows 7, so I think that has something to do with it.

Product Review:  Terrible Sound Quality, Cheap Housing
Posted on Nov 7, 2009 12:44 pm
The company that I work for is using these radios at a construction site where it is very noisy. Allot of the workers are complaining about the poor sound quality and the poor range. These are toy radios and are not suitable for industrial construction sites.
Allot of time is being lost by having to ask for a repeat in the message sent, misunderstanding the message or having to actually walk all the way over to the worker that you want to talk to.We have complained to upper management about these radios but they don't want to do anything about it. Meanwhile, the upper management is complaining about the lack of production.

Product Review:  wacky Gateway NV52

I have had it for almost 6 months now. Seems to never give me trouble but for of course being hot, well all laptops get hot. I use firefox and loads fast and works just great for me. My system I have not tried burning a DVD but a conventional CD-R burns super fast. Had a choice of this or a Sony vizo (lost cost ones are not so good) but chose this one over it because of the additional ram and hard drive space. My budget was 500 and i hit that mark mostly dead on. Plus tax made it 42 bucks more but not to big of a deal besides could mod this with that money.

Product Review:  Great Game for anybody who like the tony hawk games
Posted on Oct 28, 2009 7:58 am
I agree with you there entirely! I played the demo of this and i can't play TonyHawk Project8 enjoyable anymore, they've tried to make the game too hard to play. I still love the old school tony hawk games though, american wasteland etc..

Product Review:  Polycom Communicator on Mac OSX
Posted on Oct 13, 2009 6:12 pm
Polycomm is consistent in its disdain and absolute rejection of Apple OS X through out most all its products. This small speaker phone is just one more example of a company that evangelizes, if only partiallly (no Vista spt) Microsoft as the Saviour IT resources. I wonder what will happen when Google buys out MS?

Just check though because this doesn't work with some of the boxes supplied by internet providers, because of the coding. Just google it before you buy!

Product Review:  If I could give no stars I would
Posted on Oct 9, 2009 5:33 am
I have to agree, completely. This has been a total nightmare for me, from beginning to end, for two months. Not only does Nero not work, their support is useless. I would recommend it to NO-ONE.

Product Review:  poor documentation / iPhone issues
Posted on Oct 5, 2009 2:50 pm
Ditto. Thanks for the posting. You're comment about the bad documentation is spot on. The product is shipped with the earpiece arm UNLOCKED, so you'd think that someone would realize that the user needs to be told to lock the arms prior to charging.
