in my case, since use windows 8 button appears "as if it were flat" notheme bitmap as would result about the style of the buttons assigned by dcx dll :)
Maybe the color profile of my monitor uses shades too light ... and then I see the little white text highlighted on the normal state of the button, I had not considered this difference in the two versions of the browser ... thanks Mr. Hawkee

Yes, that is a problem with IE and how it doesn't handle border-radius in older version.

This is true, however, I've unteraken this project out of boredom. I am not really a programmer whatsoever; it is just a hobby of mine. But, who knows? This might become something "big". Anyhow, I will check it out later today or tomorrow.

You should check out the Android SDK. It's really not very difficult to use. I don't think a standalone Java IRC client has much of a chance of gaining popularity, but something that works on tablets and phones might have some potential.

The idea did cross my mind, however, I am not really familiar with the Android SDK. I shall take a deeper look at it and perhaps give it a go. Anyhow, I have to get a working application first :p

Edit: Some things bug me, though. I am not handling the GUI components correctly and I'm not sure which way I must take. There are so many approaches, yet not enough. Ha ha.
