Researching before posting would have helped you out immensely here. FluentMSL posted something similar about a week ago, offering to make snippets for those who request them. Check it out under Explore -> Threads, or here: http://www.hawkee.com/thread/103628
I'm here.
It scrapes everything on the front page. Except the ones marked "all". Which I figured the sites have so little pastes, we might as well scrape 'em all. Some pastes aren't listed, so this picks them up. Pastebin will ban you from the site without that sleep in there, so. Anyway, you find some interesting stuff.
Depends what the maximum count of characters per sentence the server allows. If it's too many, the server will break it down.
So it's not the bot, it's the server.
I've updated the search. It no longer includes threads by default and will only display them once all of the snippets and projects have been exhausted.
Did a little google search.... Turns out, searching for mirc spellcheck puts my snippet from here as the 4th result, and where I posted it on the swiftIRC forums at 5th.... and the first result leads to the mIRC forums where I link to it >.>
I'm sure most visits are coming from Google. People search for specific snippets and get directed to the page. This snippet gets about 500 pageviews per month.
The reason I ask is because my mIRC spellcheck gets on average, ~50+ views a month, or atleast thats what your statistics say. Seems quite a bit for a two year old snippet and was wondering how it stacked up to other scripts be it mIRC or other
@SunnyD Thank you, I'll have to adjust that. I plan to eventually do away with those old style snippet, app and script pages. They'll be replaced with the newer format. I just need to add a platform selector.
